Jonathan Pagano was an art director at Showpony for almost ten years before heading up to Queensland to be Creative Director of Tooletries, a company that was created because Saul and Josh the founders were “tired of overpaying for plastic shower accessories that were poorly designed and had below-par functionality. Instead, they wanted to create innovative bathroom and travel products where high performance met functionality. It started with the Harvey, and has now grown into an entire family of grooming organization and personal care products.” Sound like bloody hipsters to us. *shrugs*

Anyways, obviously Jonathan didn’t hate working at Showpony because now they’re working together, shaving together, all of that, and they came up with a campaign that BestAds think is one of this week’s 6 best print campaigns worldwide. And fair enough too, because we just trimmed our pubes in the office hand basin and couldn’t get it to look anything like this, so kudos to them.

As someone at Showpony on Facebook said because we didn’t bother actually calling them, “This series of press ads were created to encourage the furry folks among us to skip the sink and start trimming that thing in the shower. A fun way to frame a new product and enable a new behaviour, they deliver an instant, memorable get.”

Lots of people worked on the campaign, but at the risk of being juvenile, which to be fair is our specialty, our extra special shout out goes to Head of Brand Experience at Tooletries Josh Cockburn because… well… fuck, you couldn’t make this shit up
