The Job

The Digital Content Producer/Copywriter Is Accountable For

Based in Adelaide and reporting to the Senior Project Manager we are seeking a passionate and highly capable candidate that can hit the ground running to effectively complete this 3 month contract.

  • Defining and shaping effective written content for the staff portal that engages with key audiences including copywriting and editing content into a unified voice that is clear and easy to understand.
  • Writing content for digital channels in plain English and meeting web accessibility standards.
  • Liaising with stakeholders across the university to source content, ensure accuracy and currency and a strong and effective integration between digital and offline resources.
  • Conducting research and analysis to ensure accuracy and quality in copy on topics of a technical nature.
  • Measuring, analysing and reporting on outcomes from copywriting and content production and use information to drive continuous improvement processes.
  • Any other responsibilities in line with the level of the position as assigned by the Supervisor and/or the University.

Key Position Capabilities

  • Completion of degree in communications, media studies, marketing or a related discipline with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and / or education and / or training.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to write copy for digital channels and develop compelling online content to drive engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience with Content Management Systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively gather, analyse and utilise data and information from multiple sources to produce engaging and relevant digital content.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team context and with internal stakeholders.
  • A high level of organisational skills and the ability to be highly productive in a busy office environment together with the ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines, undertake several tasks concurrently and handle interruptions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as working collaboratively as part of a team, exercise initiative, judgement and sound problem solving skills, and interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures.
