About the role

We are looking for a stand-out Brand Communications Specialist to assist with the execution of Bridgestone Australia’s advertising, brand content management, events, activities and programs to maximise sales, brand awareness and market share. Reporting to the Brand Manager, your main duties will include but are not limited to;

  • Management and execution of outsourced social media and digital content planning.
  • Coordinating the planning and execution of Bridgestone brand and media strategies.
  • Assistance with brand projects such as the Olympics sponsorship.
  • Coordination of product launch campaign materials including brand advertising, promotions and production when required.
  • Responsible for brand communications such as brochure updates, branded merchandise and brand communications on the retail and corporate websites.
  • Coordination of brand events and activities such as the management of the Bridgestone display at major national automotive events and the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge event.


About you

Ideally you will have degree qualifications in marketing/business or agency account management experience. This will be accompanied by a minimum of 3 years advertising and social media and/or event and marketing project management experience.

You will demonstrate initiative and confidence whilst showcasing a determination to complete tasks within specified timeframes and with excellent attention to detail. Your ability to present confidently to a group will be complemented by your high level communication skills and your sound understanding of current marketing concepts, media and techniques. The ability to undertake end to end project management will be key to your success, as is your ability think creatively and use your strong problem solving and analytical skills.
